Baby Boy Style - Cowboy Brights...

T-Shirt- H&M, Dungarees - Boden, Bandana - (see below)

Like a Baby Bandit - The Boy made a break for it - he wasn't even wearing his shoes! Grabbing only one toy - there wasn't time to pack for this great escape.

I may have mentioned before how much we love Cowboys (here) - Particularly love this bright colour scheme - have a lot of green and navy (and orange too!) in Baby Boy's summer wardrobe.

The bandana came from one of Baby Boy's favourite books - Yee-Ha Harvey. We got our copy from Ebay but you can also pick it up for cheap cheap cheap on Amazon... I might have to grab us another copy as Boy as torn the fun slidy pages! Oops! Its great fun though - he especially loves it when I put on a (terrible) Texan voice! "Sing Yipee-Yay, Yeeha!"

Sometimes we match...

Poor boy, I sometimes start thinking about what we're wearing the next day before bed. Some mornings I wake up and dress myself and the boy, and it isn't till I'm making breakfast that I spot the mother and son fashion faux-pas!

Clearly I was feeling a little green when choosing these outfits. We're like those very... enthusiastic... families who dress in matching clothes when they go on holiday... I should just give him the number for childline now. Traumatised for life!

hehe

Happy 18months Baby Boy!!

Dearest Bunny Rabbit,

I can't believe you've been mine for a whole year and a half. Every day is wonderful with you around, every time you smile my heart melts, your laugh is such a beautiful sound (even your loud over the top fake laugh or when you try and copy my nerdy-snorty laugh!)

I'm so proud watching you grow and learn every day - you're such a bright spark, you'll be teaching me things soon enough :) - I love your personality, witty and sarcastic already - though you only say a handful of words... !

I'm so lucky to have you - you are my whole entire world. Nothing in the history of this world has ever been more 'meant to be'. We were made for each other, thats for sure.

I adore you so much.

Love always and forever,
Mama xx

ps. LOOK at that cake - I bought it at the international market that rolls into town every now and again - its like someone said "you know, there's not many ways to make cakes any better than they already are... lets top this off with ANOTHER cake and a ton of candy." - usually I would have baked my own but this week has been manic!

Baby Boy Style - Shark Attack (pt 1)

Jacket - Blue Zoo @ Debenhams, T-Shirt - Boden, Shorts - Boden.

Loving sharks on Baby Boy this summer - and bright surf looks. Have had this jacket since The Boy was 9months! So he's has some great wear out of it seeing as my gorgeous boy is 18months tomorrow! (eek!)

Lovely Sunday

Tonight Best Friend is staying with her fella, and baby boy is sound asleep... so I am mostly.... wearing my PJs, burning Parma Violet candles, eating frozen yoghurt and nutella popstickles via Food Coma (with added blueberries), munching on skittles and giant white buttons, drinking rose flavoured tea... picking a half-birthday cake (Baby Boy is 18months in 2 weeks!) from Red Velvet & Chocolate Heartache... Flicking through Vogue, Good Home magazine and planning my dream trip across America (not considering going till 2014... but I like to plan ahead!)

As well as planning some articles for BDT and catching up on some of my blog crushes the latest is: East of Home - beautiful family with a beautiful home!

Lovely lovely Sunday... :)

Something Beautiful... Kids on Roof

Baby Boy's new bedroom is coming along, just needs to be painted really and then it'll be finished - 18months of obsessive planning will finally come together!

I realised that the room needs a few little somethings that tie in with the theme and compliment the other fun features... This set of cardboard horses from Kids on Roof is PERFECT. I may leave it plain or perhaps cover it with some of the fabrics I'm using in the room. Apparently it makes a twinkling noise when you pick it up too, adorable.

I adore all the products from Dutch brand Kids on Roof, made from 100% recycled cardboard these products are kind to the environment as well as pleasing to the eye, simple and stylish.
